The Spanish cheesecake, also known as "tarta de queso," is a delicious dessert loved by many for its creamy texture and delightful taste. Here is a simple recipe to prepare a Spanish cheesecake at home:

Ingredients:

• 250 grams cream cheese
• 200 grams sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 250 grams sour cream
• 1 tablespoon flour
• Butter for greasing the baking pan
• Cookies (optional, for the crust of the cake)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 160°C and grease a round baking pan with butter.
2. If you choose to make a cookie crust, finely grind the cookies in a food processor and mix them with melted butter. Press the cookie mixture firmly onto the bottom of the baking pan.
3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until fully incorporated into the mixture.
5. Add the vanilla extract, sour cream, and flour, and mix well until everything is well combined.
6. Pour the mixture into the baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
7. Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden brown and the cake feels firm.
8. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely before removing it from the pan.
9. Refrigerate the cooled cheesecake for at least a few hours before serving to allow it to set properly.
